Musique du film “Hier, L’Année Derniére” / Music from the film “Yesterday, Last Year”

In this film we meet Laurence Hill, an English composer, who has been commissioned to write a score for a film to be produced in France, a film which charts the ultimately unsuccessful love story of two lovers. The film “Laurent et Eve”, is billed as a modern day version of Romeo and Juliet with two star-crossed lovers. Being tired of his life in England where his marriage to Helen has fallen apart due to an affair he has had with an actress he met whilst working on another film, and seeking both inspiration and escape, he has persuaded the producers to loan him an apartment with a piano, in Paris, where he will do the preliminary sketches for the score.
